These terms describe how PlanSmart may be used. They are written in plain language and are not legal advice.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password private, and for everything done through your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
Authorised educational use
PlanSmart is for teachers planning, preparing and assessing classroom work. Use it only where your school or employer permits you to do so.
Student information
You decide what student information to enter and you are responsible for having the authority to do so, for keeping it accurate, and for entering only what your teaching requires. Students do not have PlanSmart accounts; shared exam links are intended for your own class.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other teachers' accounts or records, interfere with or overload the service, probe or bypass security controls, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use PlanSmart to produce material that is unlawful or harmful to children.
AI-assisted output
Generated plans, questions, marking suggestions and other AI output are drafts. They can be incomplete or wrong. You must review and edit them before classroom or assessment use, and you remain responsible for what you give to students and for final grades.
Your content and ours
The content you enter and the materials you generate remain yours to use for your teaching. You give us permission to store and process that content so we can provide the features you use, including sending the relevant parts to our service providers to fulfil your requests. The PlanSmart application itself — its software, design and branding — remains ours.
Service availability
PlanSmart is provided as it is. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of anything critical; exports and PDF downloads are available in the app.
Limitations
We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from your use of the service or from reliance on unreviewed AI output.
Ending your use
You may stop using PlanSmart at any time. To request account deletion, email privacy@plansmartbahamas.com with the subject "PlanSmart account deletion request". We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
